Improve the OH32P02 Front Suspension with these simple mods

The stock Independent Front Suspension on the Orlandoo OH32P02 is built like filigree and can lead to a few different issues. Luckily, Orlandoo has released a brand new Alloy Upgrade Set to replace the weaker plastic parts and eliminate the previous issues, but this solution is costly and won’t be for everybody.

There are few things small changes you can make to massively improve the geometry and overall stability on the stock setup for absolutely free. Of course the parts will still be weak compared to the alloy hop-ups, but we feel that this method is actually the way the manual should tell you to build it to begin with.

  • First, get rid of the unfortunate geometry and the massive toe out by simply swapping around some parts as seen in the screenshot below.
  • While you’re at it, replace the ballheads on upper suspension arms with m1.6 screws – the 1603 3mm machine screws from the kit should do the trick, although a tad longer ones (1604 – 4mm length) wouldn’t hurt if you can source them.

  • When you’re done, the final step is to use more m1.6 screws to attach the shocks to the lower suspension arms, as shown below.

Once you follow these steps above you should be left with a nicely working independent front suspension with a notable stability improvement on your OH32P02 Tundra.

Congratulations, you got rid of most of the wobble and your vehicle should be much more enjoyable now 🙂
