Methodic Alloy Beadlock 18mm Wheels. Beautiful, functional and affordable – these wheels are our own in-house design, offering an ideal upgrade for your 1/32 rock racer. Precision machined in aviation-grade alloy, these wheels will ensure your rig is a cut above the rest. Looking at the perfectly scale, iconic outer rim design, you would never believe these are a true beadlock wheel. Flip the wheel over and you will discover the true potential of these wheels – no more CA glue mess! Six M1 x 4mm screws secure the inner bead against a carefully profiled internal locking ring.

These 18mm rims are a perfect fit for the Geko24 33mm and 36mm tires. Due to the lack of a proper bead on the Orlandoo tires we cannot guarantee you will get a firm beadlock action if used, but you can still resort to CA glue. In any case, you will find the Geko tires offer superior grip, and the 36mm tires in particular give a distinct performance edge over the Orlandoo offerings. And we love performance as much as we love scale. You also get a useful unsprung weight advantage for crawling, so its just win, win and more win.

Note that these wheels are bigger than standard Orlandoo OH35A01/OH32A02/OH32A03 wheels. They are intended for the OH32X01/OH32X02, Tiny4x4 DooRok or 1/25 and 1/24 plastic kit conversions using Orlandoo axles.

You get a set of four wheels and all necessary hardware. Each wheel consists of an outer rim, inner beadlock ring and internal locking ring. High grade alloy and precision machining ensure easy assembly, with six M1 x 4mm screws for each wheel. We even provide a spare screw or two in case of assembly mishaps!

Assembly

1. Insert the locking ring into your tire.
2. Slide the outer rim into the tire aperture, and ensure the tire seats firmly against the outer lip.
3. Flip the wheel and tire over.
4. Insert a screw into the beadlock ring and place the ring gently onto the rear face of the wheel, making sure the holes line up.
5. Get the first screw located in its hole and give it a few turns, taking care not to mis-thread it – if you feel any resistance back it off and try again.
6. Install the second screw in the hole opposite the first and give it a few turns.
7. Do the same for the remaining four screws.
8. Now tighten each screw a few turns at a time, working around the wheel tightening opposite pairs, to ensure the beadlock ring seats squarely.
9. Do not apply excessive force. The screws should go in easily and you should be able to feel when they are fully tightened.

Please do not over-tighten the small M1 screws; they don’t need force to be tight!
