The unsprung weight will also help your suspension work harder, keeping the wheels planted on the terrain. 5 grams per wheel may not sound like much, but it can make a lot of difference out on the trails, without putting undue stress on your drivetrain.

Accepted wisdom is to weight the front wheels – if you prefer to have all four weighted you will need to buy two sets. These weights are a tight press fit over the wheel and are slim enough to still allow your tires to conform to the terrain. They are compatible with factory X01 rims and may also work with other 18mm non-beadlock rims.
