X-Row Kuro King 2007 Option Bonnet. In 2007 the Defender received a number of updates, including replacement of the TD5 engine with the Ford Duratorq unit. This necessitated the introduction of a visible bulge pressed into the bonnet (hood) to accommodate the taller engine. The stock Kuro King bonnet is what you need if you’re modelling an earlier Defender. If you prefer the late-model look, then this bonnet is what you need.

As with every other detail of the X-Row 1/24 Kuro King, the bonnet design has been well thought out. It comes with 2x neodymium magnets, with recesses molded into the underside to accept them. the rear of the bonnet clips under the bulkhead and is then retained in place with the front-mounted magnets.
