Description
DasMikro AFHDS3 AiO Nano RX/ESC Combo for NB4. This tiny 2.4Ghz All-in-One RC receiver and bi-directional brushed ESC from DasMikro is nothing short of phenomenal. You get four servo outputs plus an onboard 2S (7.4v) 6A ESC in a tiny package. The high resolution ESC has exceptionally smooth power delivery, enabling fine low speed throttle control. It uses the latest Flysky AFHDS3 protocol and is compatible with the Flysky Noble NB4 and NB4 Pro transmitters.
This ESC is the No-Brake version, so has instant reverse and is suitable for micro crawlers such as the Orlandoo Hunter, GeKo or KuroKing. It will also work well with larger micros, particularly those with worm drive axles such as the old Losi Micro Crawler/Trekker and Axial SCX24.
It has a single short wire antenna, uses two-way transmission and features a unique compact design. A high performance CPU provides precision control of each channel, befitting the quality exuded by the Noble transmitter.
This receiver utilizes 3-pin JST-ZH (1.5mm pin spacing) connectors to save space and unnecessary weight. The package also includes four male connectors on high quality 75mm silicon leads, plus a male and female 2.5mm JST-RCY plug and socket, both on high. So with some soldering skill you can convert any existing components such as ESC or Servo to be compatible. An additional programming port uses a 1.25mm 3 -pin socket with an included wired male plug. For good measure you also get 3x 100 kΩ resistors and 2x 150mm 24AWG silicon leads!

Binding Procedure
- Press and hold the BIND button and power on the receiver; the receiver’s led will flash quickly.
- Put the transmitter into bind mode. The receiver’s led will flash slowly when the binding is successful.
- Power off the receiver and then power on again. The receiver should now be working normally (steady LED).
Receiver Forced Update Mode
If you update the firmware on your NB4 Noble transmitter it is likely you will then need to update and re-bind all your receivers. To update this AiO Unit you need to:
- Connect one side of the Bind button to the signal output on CH4 on your receiver, and then power it on. (This is best done with a small pair of metal tweezers between the button contact and servo output pin. Using a switched power source will also make the operation easier. If connecting one side of the Bind button doesn’t work, try connecting to the other side.)
- The receiver LED will repeat a pattern of flashing rapidly 3 times followed by a longer pause to indicate it is in update mode.
- You can then choose ‘RX SET/Update Receiver’ in you transmitter menu and select FGr4S/FGr4P receiver type.
- Once the receiver updates successfully it will automatically move into bind mode (continuous rapid flash).
- Put your transmitter into Bind mode. The receiver’s led will flash slowly when the binding is successful.
- Power off the receiver and then power on again. The receiver should now be working normally (steady LED).
